Confidential Advisor for Research Integrity (WI VP)

NRIN has been organising bi-annual meetings (onsite or online) with the Confidential Advisors for Research Integrity (WI VP) from Dutch Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences (Homeschool). Due to the sensitive topics, these meetings are only open to the Confidential Advisors for Research Integrity.

The meetings offer an opportunity to discuss practices, approaches and the challenges encountered when dealing with cases of research misconduct, and share expertise among the confidential advisors.

Professor Bert Theunissen (Utrecht University) chairs these meetings, and members are invited to propose topics and cases they wish to see addressed during the meeting.

Training for Confidential Advisors for Research Integrity (WI VP)

Once a year NRIN organises free training to new VP and/or VP who would like to acquire training in their role as Confidential Advisors for Research Integrity. For that, NRIN partnered with Dr. Claartje van Sijl, who has a proven record of coaching and training for academics (link). Dr. Claartje van Sijl’s course for VP includes topics such as mediation of conflicts and deliberation models.
