Dr. Natalie Evans

Dr. Natalie Evansis a Social Scientist with a background in Public Health and Anthropology and a long-term interest in ethics. She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ethics, Law and Humanities, VUmc. Recently, Natalie has been busy developing tools to support researchers in their day-to-day practices, and training to foster scientific virtues, as part of two large European Commission funded projects (EnTIRE and VIRT2UE). She is the WP lead of the Stakeholder Consultation for EnTIRE, and the Scientific Manager for VIRT2UE. Through VIRT2UE, Natalie has trained research integrity trainers from Europe, Africa, and North America. Natalie is also the coordinator of the Research Integrity PhD Training at VUmc as well as contributing to a number of bioethics and global health courses across Amsterdam. Natalie is an Associate Editor of the Journal Science and Engineering Ethics, where she is responsible for articles on Research Integrity.
